Stormwater Treatment Regulations Have Changed
Effective January 1, 2010 the City of Santa Rosa is prioritizing Low Impact Development (LID) Best Management Practices (BMPs) for all new development and redevelopment projects requiring post-construction stormwater treatment BMPs. On June 1, 2010, the stormwater treatment sizing thresholds and requirements changed.
All discretionary projects must complete the SUSMP worksheet to identify whether or not the project is required to include post-construction stormwater treatment BMPs. Projects that are required to implement post-construction stormwater treatment BMPs should provide a Preliminary Stormwater Treatment Plan with the discretionary permit application(s).
The revised stormwater treatment requirements are summarized on the City's stormwater permit webpage at www.srcity.org/stormwaterpermit.
An electronic form of this worksheet as well as a manually completed form of the worksheet and a LID Design Calculator are available for download from the City's Stormwater LID Technical Manual webpage at www.srcity.org/stormwaterLID.
