This booklet contains a list of all City fees that might be required of a new or expanding business or residential project in Santa Rosa. The information in the fee schedule is current as of January 1, 2010. Certain fees change on an annual basis; others may be instituted or waived at City Council discretion. Although the information provided here is as current and complete as possible, it is best to check with City staff to ensure that there are no other requirements that your project might need to meet.

*** NOTICE ***
Standard Urban Storm Water Mitigation Plan (SUSMP) requirements will apply to all applicable Discretionary Permit Applications deemed complete on June 27, 2005 or thereafter. Discretionary Permit Applications include Subdivision Tentative Maps, Tentative Map Extensions, Conditional Use Permits, Design Review applications, Utility Certificates, Hillside Development Permits, and Landmark Alterations.
In general, SUSMP may apply to projects over an acre in size, or if the project is adjacent to a waterway, or if the project requires a new storm drain outfall to a waterway. The Impervious Surface Worksheet and Proximity Worksheet available at the Planning Counter are required to be completed and submitted with Discretionary Permit Applications over an acre in size, and will determine if SUSMP is applicable to the project. Applications submitted without the two above referenced worksheets will be deemed incomplete.
