This booklet contains a list of all City fees that may be required of a new or expanding business or residential project in Santa Rosa. The information in the fee schedule is current as of July 1, 2011. Certain fees change on an annual basis; others may be instituted or waived at City Council discretion. Although the information provided here is as current and complete as possible, it is best to check with City staff to ensure that there are no other requirements that your project might need to meet.

*** NOTICE ***
Stormwater Regulations Have Changed
Effective January 1, 2010 the City of Santa Rosa is prioritizing Low Impact Development (LID) Best Management Practices (BMPs) for all new development and redevelopment projects requiring post-construction stormwater BMPs. On June 1, 2010, the project triggers requiring the design and submittal of a Standard Urban Stormwater Mitigation Plan (SUSMP) and the assotiated requirements changed.
All discretionary projects must complete the Determination Worksheet to identify whether or not the project is required to include post-construction stormwater treatment BMPs. Projects that are required to implement post-construction stormwater treatment BMPs need to provide a Preliminary SUSPM with the discretionary permit application(s).
The Stormwater Low Impact Development Technical Design Manual as well as downloadable design tools, such as the Stormwater Calculator, can be found on the City's webpage at: www.srcity.org/stormwaterLID.
The revised stormwater treatment requirements are summarized on the City's stormwater permit webpage at www.srcity.org/stormwaterpermit.
