The City of Santa Rosa adopted this ordinance in 1999 to prohibit water waste due to unattended open hoses, broken irrigation heads or lines, plumbing leaks, and excessive irrigation running off property or spraying on sidewalks or gutters.

To report water waste, please contact Water Conservation staff at (707) 543-3985.  Make sure you have the following information:  location of the water waste (street name and number) and nearest cross-street.  You may also email this information to:  gchavez@srcity.org.
