General Information

The park has miles of hiking, jogging, and biking trails waiting to be explored.  Many trails lead to County operated Spring Lake Park and continue into Annadel State Park.

• Dogs on leashes are allowed on the trails (6 foot maximum leash length), and owners are expected to clean up after their pets
• Horses and motorized vehicles are not allowed on the trails in Howarth Park
• Mountain Bikes are allowed on the trails, but pedestrians have the right of way!  Please be respectful and courteous in sharing the trails.
• Please help us keep our park and trails free of litter
• Please report any suspicious or inappropriate activity to the Police immediately
• Please be courteous to others while enjoying the park
