Community Parks: are large parks (over 10 acres) with family/group picnic areas, BBQ's, play equipment, and restrooms. Parks may have additional amenities such as sand volleyball, horseshoe pits, dog parks, softball field, clubhouse, tennis courts, amusement area (miniature train ride, carousel, pony rides, climbing wall, etc.). Organized events such as festivals and movie nights are held in Community Parks.

Neighborhood Parks: are 10 acres or less, close enough to walk to, and usually contain play apparatus, benches, a grassy area and landscaping. Take your kids outside, walk your dog, or get yourself moving - get out and recreate!!! |
