Park a Month Volunteer Program

Bring your friends and work together, or come and meet new people
while helping to keep our neighborhood parks in great shape!

Park a month volunteer logo The Park-A-Month Volunteer program is BACK! This program provides Santa Rosa residents with an opportunity to come together and take ownership of their neighborhood parks to keep them looking their best in a fun and community-driven setting. With recent department staffing reductions, now, more than ever, Rec & Parks needs your help to maintain our neighborhood parks!

Thanks to everyone who came out and volunteered in Southwest Community Park for a recent Park-A-Month clean-up event! With the help of about 24 volunteers; we planted 10 trees, moved 40 yards of mulch and accomplished a great deal of general clean-up duties as well. The park looks great because of you! Join us for the next scheduled event. See details below!
