Adopt a Green Space

Come use your time, talents, and/or money
to help keep Santa Rosa looking good!

Click here to see the Adopt a Green Space Brochure

The Adopt-a-Green Space program is a partnership between the City of Santa Rosa Recreation & Parks Department and individual volunteers, businesses and/or community groups.  The entire community is welcome to get involved, including community groups, businesses, service clubs, schools, private clubs, youth groups and individuals.

Participation can happen in several ways:  commitment to a specific park, median/island, or pioneer gravesite to perform tasks such as:

  • weeding
  • planting or seasonal maintenance
  • litter removal
  • graffitti removal
  • special projects

In addition, financial support or funding can be applied to a specific area for its maintenance and improvement.  Groups can also get involved with funding or volunteering in a recreation program or special event.
