For the enjoyment and safety of everyone, Santa Rosa Recreation, Parks, and Community Services expects all participants to treat the people and facilities connected with the program with respect and abide by all rules and direction from staff. Department Staff reserve the right to refuse services to anyone for failure to abide by these standards. (13-24.036)

Picnic Sites: Many tables and barbeques are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you wish to guarantee a picnic site - especially if you have a large group or are visiting one of our more popular parks, you will need to make a reservation. We take reservations for our 7 Community Parks only. Picnic areas fill quickly, so make your reservations early.

Dogs: are welcome in our parks. Scoop and leash laws apply. All dogs must be on-leash unless they are in specified off-leash areas or dog parks.

The following things are NOT allowed in City Parks: |
- Jump Houses are allowed in several of our parks. We do NOT provide electricity. The rental service must follow our policies for setup. to learn more about our jump house, policies, click here
- Please use barbecues
provided at the picnic sites
- Please help us keep our parks clean and green - place trash in the garbage cans or dumpsters
- Enjoy sports and games, but please respect the "field closed" signs to preserve the turf (13-24.035)
- Keep radios and tape/CD players at a sound level that cannot be heard outside your picnic area
- Alcohol is allowed in Community Parks after 5 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends and holidays. Please remember NO glass is allowed in the parks.
