How to apply for a job (general information):
Online: Our preferred way to accept applications is online. You may apply online by viewing open jobs and clicking the "Apply" link.
Other: As long as the recruitment is not designated as "Online Only," application materials can be picked up at our main office and returned in person or mailed via U.S. Postal Service, to the address specified on the Application for Employment.
Applicant's Responsibilities: Before making the final submission of the application, it is your responsibility to ensure correctness of all information provided in the application and to ensure that all applicable documents listed above are included at the time of submission.
Please note: You may submit a resume or other relevant document to further describe your qualifications; however, a resume will not meet the requirement to submit a complete application, including employment history, or be accepted in lieu of responses to supplemental questions. Be aware that your resume and other attachments not specifically requested may not be used to determine your qualifications.
You must submit an Application for Employment (and a Veteran's Preference Form, if you are requesting veteran's preference). A Supplemental Questionnaire, or other forms, may also be required. It is important that your application show all the relevant education and experience you possess and includes any required documents. Incomplete application materials will be rejected.
The City of Santa Rosa does not discriminate on the basis of disability in the admissions or access to, or treatment of or employment in, its programs or activities.
