Focused Citywide Creek Master Plan Update

The City of Santa Rosa is embarking on a focused update of the Citywide Creek Master Plan (CCMP).  This plan, adopted in March 2007, identifies opportunities for natural habitat restoration, open space preservation, multi-use transportation routes, and recreation along creeks in the City of Santa Rosa.   The plan has helped the City identify and receive over $11 million in grant funding for creek projects, guided creek side development projects, led to creek restoration and increased public access to creeks.

The focused  plan update would recognize additional creeks and changes to existing creeks, make the plan and associated maps more user friendly,  ensure that the plan is consistent with other adopted City policies, and establish a new priority system for projects along creeks.

If you have any questions or comments, please contact Erin Morris, Senior Planner, at emorris@srcity.org or 707-543-3273.
