Lobbyist Information and Registrations

Effective January 1, 2011, any person or entity acting as a lobbyist in the City of Santa Rosa must register with the City Clerk by filing the Lobbyist Registration Form and the Contract Lobbyist Client Information sheet and submit payment of fees. These forms must be filed within fifteen (15) days upon initial employment. In addition, lobbyists are required to file annual reports between January 1 and January 31 of each year.

Registered lobbyists must file an amended registration with the City Clerk within fifteen (15) days of any changes to the registration information on file, including but not limited to changes in the legislative or administrative action for which the lobbyist has been engaged or the addition or loss of a client after the annual registration period.

Please note that no person shall engage in any activity on behalf of a client as a lobbyist unless he or she has registered using these forms and listed such clients with the City Clerk.

Required Forms:  Please print and complete each form.  Forms must be returned to the City Clerk's Office, 100 Santa Rosa Avenue, Room 10, Santa Rosa, 95404 or they can be scanned and emailed to: swilliams@srcity.org.  Electronic filings are effective upon receipt by the City of the filing fee. The original signed declaration must be provided within ten (10) days of electronic transmission.
